"Carlos Zapata Scholarship Program: Promoting Talent in the Community of Madrid"

The Humanism and Science Foundation is pleased to announce that the Carlos Zapata scholarships have been awarded to the students selected for the corresponding academic year. This scholarship program represents a strong commitment to academic development and equal opportunities, providing financial support to gifted students from the Community of Madrid pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in science.

Recipients:

The Carlos Zapata scholarships from the Humanism and Science Foundation are aimed at gifted students from the Community of Madrid who are pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in any science specialty. Applicants must have an IQ above 120 and be enrolled at institutions based in the Community of Madrid.

Economic Endowment:

The Foundation will provide the scholarships with a total of €196,000 per year. These scholarships will be divided into 15 salary scholarships for master's students, amounting to €7,200 per year, payable in nine monthly installments of €800 per year during the academic year, and 10 salary scholarships for doctoral students, amounting to €8,800 per year, payable in eleven monthly installments of €800 per year during the academic year. These scholarships are compatible with any other possible scholarship or financial aid, whether public or private.

Scholarship and Prize Awards:

The Carlos Zapata Scholarship and Award ceremony took place on Friday, November 24th, in the Auditorium of the Marqués de Valdecilla Historical Library at the Complutense University of Madrid. During the event, the foundation's main objectives were presented, a summary of its scientific activities was shared, and a presentation on brain research was given. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas and awards, which highlighted the institution's commitment and vision.
