The Carlos Zapata Scholarships, offered by the Humanism and Science Foundation, demonstrate a strong commitment to academic development and equal opportunities. Aimed at both gifted students and the study assistance program at ICAE in the Community of Madrid, their purpose is to support talented students. The awarding of these scholarships reflects our dedication to fostering talent and ensuring access to quality higher education.

Scholarships for gifted students

The Humanism and Science Foundation awarded 25 scholarships in 2023, with the possibility of renewal, for postgraduate university studies in science, in the master's and doctoral categories, to gifted students from the Community of Madrid.

2023 Zapata Briceño Awards for Talent and Academic Merit

The Humanism and Science Foundation presented the Zapata Briceño Awards for Talent and Merit, recognizing the achievements of student researchers. These awards recognize the effort and dedication that foster the advancement of knowledge and education.

Scientific Outreach Awards

The Humanism and Science Foundation, in its commitment to raising awareness about human potential and promoting access to knowledge, has launched the first edition of the Carlos Zapata Prize for Scientific Dissemination. This award recognizes and promotes initiatives that disseminate the latest frontiers of human knowledge.

Study aid programs at ICAE

In 2020, the Humanism and Science Foundation collaborated with Comillas Pontifical University to support access to engineering education. This partnership provides scholarships to students with academic merit and limited resources, thus strengthening the joint commitment to inclusive education and academic development.
